The Litchfield Ballet Foundation (LBF), a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization which sponsors public performances for talented, young, local dancers to participate in. These auditions are open to any dance student. There is an audition process for each project. Additional fees are to be expected for audition, rehearsals and costumes (rent or purchase). LBF also brings in professional guest artists to perform and master teachers to teach in the Master Class Series.

Mission: The LBF's mission is to spotlight local talent, provide a professional dance environment that offers educational opportunities while promoting a higher level of cultural awareness in the South Carolina Low Country.

History: Litchfield Ballet Foundation was established in 2001, as a sister organization to the Litchfield Dance Arts Academy (LDAA) and the Litchfield Dance Company (LDC). Ilka Doubek and Tom Fox are its founding directors.
